Maybe it's because I read too many of your previous stories, but this one comes more as an anime story rather than a sci-fi story... either way, your action scene is nice as usual.

I do prefer your main character in this story rather than Miege and Art... or Kyu. Trace is more a life and tons more interesting. And fun. That scene with Kline and Haley is just gold.

Be careful of adding too many characters (something I thought you did with SP). I prefer this style, though some of your powers confuse me. I'm guessing "boost" is a special ability that one have. So far we have 'ice' 'flash' 'gravity'. I hope you will explain more about them in the future.
