What a hear wrenching poem, Scratch! You are so god at writing poems. You capture every moment so descriptively! I really love this poem, although it sickens me what humans do for sport....

Scratch has written a beautifully vivid poem about the subject that is nearest to her heart. Her love for animals, especially the cougar, is evident in this piece. She adds intensity in many of the stazas that ready the reader for the tragedy taking place. Scratch has a good feel for timing and passion. I am impressed with this poem.

Although this was a depressing poem, I found it thought provoking and true to life.
