diluain 2009-03-23 . chapter 1Great little vignette. We all have moments like this, where we stop and look in the mirror and wonder why our lives are the way they are. Then we take a deep breath, bury our troubles deep, and go back to "normal."
This character has a bit more to worry about than most of us, with his apparent fixation on an imaginary love, but there's still a lot to identify with. Who among us has made it to adulthood without looking in the mirror and wondering if they were completely sane?
(I like that you gave no description. The character is a blank slate, so we can see ourselves in him -- or not -- as we please. ) |
