Slightly unBritishize this and you've got, word-for-word, what has run through my head in so many scenarios involving someone right now. (Slutdom sortof dawns on you; maybe much the same way that addiction does, much the same way that love does. It seems to me that every slope is steep, and we're all wearing flipflops...)

Beautiful, again. You've captured a certain aspect of a lot of people's lives (at least, around here) in such a convining way that I'm really unsure which came first; my feeling or your story.

I think I may have taken too much Nyquil, and I'm feeling a bit woozy and am having issues keeping my eyes open, but i'll write soon!!

I enjoyed the piece. I'm hopelessly drawn into several stories that have P.O.V's of more than one character. This one was written well and had a great underlying theme. I like the idea of magic and halloween - like magic and the effect of the drugs are both just dipping into a fantasy world but we are all grounded here. Apologies for that not making sense. It's late, I'm procrastinating and my coffee is gone. Anyway, I really did like this piece, the characters and the flow of the story. Well done
