|Reviews for Plastic Sticker Diagnoses|
| Frostany 11/8/07 . chapter 1
This was a really disturbing but true poem. Many people in institutions are turned into nameless, faceless numbers in a chart. Institutions and the mental health system itself is overcrowded and insufficiently staffed. Something has to change in order to better help the people suffering from mental illnesses. We deserve better.
Great writing, it was chilling and some of the images were really powerful, I liked the liked line "defined by the nametag stapled to her forehead, the labels wrapped around her neck". I also liked the line about signing her name in crayola crayons.
I remember my own experiences in the hospital when i was on "SO's" suicide observation, and couldn't write with anything except crayons.
Great work, I loved it.
