| Abdul Alhazred - John Brewe... 2008-04-13 ch 1, | abuseforgive me but... "I know why the caged bird sings" You're not alone, and you are not invisible ach! I just wanna pat you on the head and go climb some trees, invisible. This is one of the better angst poems out there... not my cup of tea (you look upon a chronically and irreversably upbeat mad poet) but I can see you back there. Chin up, somewhere there are tidal forces tearing apart a solar-system. |
| Icrome 2007-10-26 ch 1, | abusebeautiful poem, quite sad... honestly though whats the point of life if you just sit and watch it pass, then again i guess thats what tv's for... |
| smile for the sunshine 2007-10-26 ch 1, | abuseI know how this feels. I think it is amazing how we are all so centered in our own world -good or bad- and refuse to reach out or help the little girl in the corner crying. Everyone sad is labeled "emo" and "condemned". Yet everyone feels the same thing. So why can't we help people out? I was just rereading a piece by Frog Tongue called, "Yes, indeed, we are American idiots." How all we care about is a fictional character's sexuality, despite wars, starvation, etc. And I think you can put this on a personal level. Everyone is obsessed with themselves, their world, the stupid things, to look at someone who needs it. Sorry for the rambling, and the fact that I can't be your friend. I have much empathy for those that feel alone, and trapped in a masquerade. I've been there before. And I hate to hear of others there. Good poem. Hope things get better. Keep writing. =] |
