I'm on a one-shot Halloween slash hunt, and up pops this! I was so surprised I hadn't read it before now, and I'm really glad I did. So hot and tangible and damn amazing and you made a vampire slash story not completely dumb and overdone. It's fresh and brilliant, every word. The second-person viewpoint was probably my favorite part of the whole thing, just in general, especially for the voyeur-tastic scene. Don't see a lot of that, but you totally nailed it (staked it? har har...)

Well, a continuation would be amazing, especially one a year later for Halloween follow-up, but I kind of like it as is, you know? I completely mean that in a good way, too. It works well as a one-shot and the open-endedness of it is growing on me by the second. But I certainly would not complain if there were more ;)
