I knew I liked Andy right away. The humor and personable narration are a lot of fun to read; she's sassy, sarcastic, and I'm every bit as surprised as she is as to her new job. | Weeping Duck 2007-11-03 ch 1, | abuseWell, I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of stupid questions because this genre is far from what I usually read. But your summary made me super curious, so I couldn't resist. Stupid question number one: are there really programs that twelve year olds can join to be bodyguards? That is incredibly amazing if there are; the sheer coolness of that blew my mind. I love the characters. Honestly, Andy reminds me very much of my best friend. The sisters are such opposites, and Andy's reaction to her parents (particularly defying them to join the dangerous bodyguard thing) was great. Your plot is certainly unique! I can't wait to see Andy teaching and, of course, to see Jesse. Excellent beginning! |
