Excellent! I normally avoid fics of the sci-fi sort but this was amazingly written :). You really had me feeling for the characters whom were by the way very realistically characterized so aces for you. Congrats on NanoWrimo!

i never reviewed but i loved this WHOLE BOOK.. whooa see if u can figure out who this is. I printed almost your whole book out so i didnt have to sit at the computer the whole time because i was so awestruck by it... I seriously hope you do tons more books XD

I really, really liked this. It was amazingly well thought out and far more complicated then I would have thought, considering you had to write it so quickly.

There were, are, a billion grammar mistakes, and that really bugged me- but it was so good that I got over it. You should have a beta reader go over it and correct all the little things- it wouldn't take too long, and it would really improve the story. I know that I'm a grammar Nazi, but it's a lot easier to enjoy something when I don't have these little mistakes popping out and distracting me.

Honestly, though, now I have to go see what else you've written. :)

It was quite confusing alot of the times, and complex. And the complexities would be fine if the writing wasn't so confusing. It is like you wanted to add all these things and ideas into the story that it goes overboard. If you have any questions on what I mean, ask. I am exhausted. I did enjoy it though. But sometimes I would skip parts.

Yay for happy endings. I really enjoyed the story.

I only had one bit of criticism to impart, and please don't take offense as I loved the story overall. Anyway, the last part of the story seemed a bit confusing for me. I'm talking specifically about Rii's rescue. The sword fight between Ven and Roake was particularlly confusing. I had a difficult time visualizing the setting and understanding what was going on. Thats really my own complaint.

So I'm curious... Do any of Rii's children have interesting powers? Got any plans for a sequel? lol :o)

I don't know why, but I always thought a nanowrimo story would be meandering mess without direction. Guess my ignorance is proven wrong - I should probably consider reading more of them from now on. This is a really cool story. I'm already up way past my bedtime and I keep telling myself "one more chapter", and then you go and make the story too cool so I have to keep doing that. *yawn* Good job.

I wanted to drop in a review for this chapter and send some praise your way. I thought the way in which you handed the Rivi's POV was pretty unique. It was very interesting and refreshing to read. Good job. :)

That was beautiful! I love your stories but I'm always so sad when they'er over. I could seriously read them all day, this one especially. Great job, you rock my socks Fujin! Can't wait for the epiloge!

Rii is one tough cookie. I love the reunion, it was sweet even if it was in the middle of a fight. Venna kicks butt, I always love a sassy 'Lady' out for revenge. And you know it came out fine, it always does ;)
