So it’s kinda disappointing to find the ‘end’ here. *Grins* The story itself is engaging and well written. I really liked the description of when the demon ‘woke up’ in the river and how it was Gus’s eyes that seemed to be what he latched onto--needed. A nice touch indeed. Well done!

I realize it's been over a year since this was posted to this account, anyways -- I just found it, though, so to me it's like new. And dangit, it isn't finished (though it's as good a place as any to finish, I guess, if you want it to be a short story to make people wonder) - but I really wish that there was more. I want the demon to have a chance with Gus! Also, think of how cool a rock band would be with a demon in it. And Gus never has to know. It can be like his brilliant second chance.

Anyway, I really like what you DO have written. Thanks for writing it.
