TabiKat 2008-09-06 . chapter 1I agree completely with every rule. #1 I had to find out myself the hard way. Thankfully, I've never had to deal with something like what you used as an example in #2 but I have seen some arrogant threads in my lifetime. (What is it about twelve-year-olds where they think that they and only they know what is best?)#3 hits closer to home. There was one time when my sister found a fanfic for something that was basically a two-line, poorly written joke that wasn't even funny. She went to tell the person as nicely as possible that their "story" was terrible. Now, if that so-called-writer had replied angrily, like most of them do, I wouldn't have been surprised. But their response was something along the lines of "You can't rush perfection." Either they were one those people that gets their kicks from pissing off people they don't even know or they had the most swelled head on the planet. Who can tell?
#5 is my personal favorite because its very true and I think a lot of people should remember it. Though an insult is still always an insult, it really lessens the blow when I'm told "u suk" Oh, boo-hoo.
I also like this because, though it is a rant, it is well organized and not as bitter as I expected, to be truthful. It was very enjoyable to read and a few bits made me laugh. Very entertaining. |
darkflame1516 2008-03-16 . chapter 2you know what's really funny to mean? with the exception of the last rule, I've had those all happen repeatedly with both different and sometimes the same friend for all of them XP.
in fact, i'm fairly certain of done all of them myself except #3...cause thats just like..."dude, no."
i liked this one actually better than your first one, they are both impressive rants, and also totally true. those are like seriously good ways to piss off your friends. ^^ |
