I'm not to crazy about the repitition. Especially considering how short the lines are, it seems a bit much.

However, it did work well at the end. It contrasted the end well and brought it out. Nice ending, by the way :)

[Love/Is why I’m ugly/Love/Is why I’m pretty] I like these lines. It shows the whole effect a significant other can have on you with simple words.

the contradictions in relation to the repetition is clever!

Sometimes a little repetition is OK. But when there's nothing else to them poem, it isn't.
