This piece is powerful and very private. So much can happen in two years... it's amazing to see the difference in your tone alone. Love found and love lost. I only wish there was a little more clarity to the story-- for the first half of the first chapter, I was incredibly confused about the sex of both figures. I know you are writing this for personal, and not public, needs, but that was a little tricky to get through.

Keep it up, and good luck with this. Time will mend these wounds, but it always takes longer than we hope.
