Interesting concept. I like the fact that the protagonist is a bit of a dweeb. I do think, however, that you might have given the hero a name. Possibly the girlfriend too. I think if you named those two characters you would have the basis for an interesting series of stories. Perhaps Sam struggling with the "goodness" left in him as he adjusts to his life as the consort of the supervillainess...
