Probably because she's not your average 'girl' character. She's not a beautiful warrior princess nor is she a sexy vamp or werewolf nor is she a typical girl hero she's just an average quiet/shy girl living in the 1800's who happens to get herself thrust into a horror like fairytale that she never wanted to be apart of.

Alright, so for Troy, seeing as he's based on someone I know, is quite a complicated person... He tends to be quiet and serious around people he doesn't know/his elders, saying very little and tending not to smile or express emotion, unless necessary. But around his friends/peers, that's a totally different story. He's all laughs and such around them, pertaining to the situation.
You pretty much had it down though. :D
Oh and just fyi, his mother is from India and his father from Trinidad.

i think he's very original. not a lot of people write westerns and even though it's not a fully developed plot and story, Hickory is an interesting character and I hope to expand him a bit.
