It's good. One problem however, is that the splitting of the Blazing spirit, is too much like the splitting of the Shikon Jewel
in "Inuyasha", and the tattoos that give Rex extra power, are similar to the tattoos that glow when aang is in Avatar state in "Avatar: The last Airbender".
And Rex being half fox is similar to Kyuubi being part of Naruto in "Naruto".
You should try to make these a little different or else you'll appear as a second rate writer, and I wanted to at least warn you since I can see you have potential.
