This story sucked hard who the crap wrote this a 5 year old. I mean come on!

this is only one part of the story she thought she was more beautiful then aphrodite but also she had met up with aphrodites husband in her temple and had an aphare in her own temple so she puished madusa an made her so hideous no man could love her and to be sure of this she made it were madusa could not look any one in tho eyes or they would turn to stone not just human malesevery creature on earth plants, animals, any creature so therefore aphrodites human flaws is jelousy

Actually, she worked for Athena in her temple and Poseidon, well, he just couldn't resist her and they did it in the temple. Athena couldn't blame Poseidon, so she blamed Medusa...

This was a good story but, not the true story. Poseidon had falled in love with the mortal, beautiful Medusa, and attemted to seduce her in Athena's temple. Medusa sought help to the wisdom goddess, but Athena was only spiteful towards the maiden. As punishment, Medusa was turned into a horrible beast, whose gaze turned anyway who looked at her, to stone. That, is the true story. Still the writing style of this was excellent, and it was very well written.

This story was very good, but the way I heard was that Aphrodite was getting married to a handsome young man, but one day he was out doing whatever and he saw Medusa. madusa was in her beautiful state and he fell in lave with her.

When Aphrodite found out, she was outraged and she set a curse on Madusa witch had the same effects this story tells about.
