Charlie throughout the story seems to be a pretty weak and fickle girl, fluttering from choice to life-changing choice like a butterfly from flower to flower with no real regard for the consequences she causes with her naive foolishness. She hurt her mother, Alex, Noah, others and consequently Alice with so much instability. She should try harder, or else she'll alienate everyone because she's undependable and shallow. Also the depth of emotion and character that this story showed briefly in the beginning disappeared just as fast as it came, pity, it showed promise. But chapter 9's ending was good, she did the right thing, Noah deserves his own fresh start with someone that loves HIM, and Alice's parent's need to reconnect which they did quite nicely.
The rewrite sounds intriguing but also mildly depressing, but that doesn't matter as long as it ends well, addresses the questions it raises and has strong development throughout.

Can't wait to see the re-write. Sounds like some major drama gonna be going on. I don't really remember all the characters except for Alex and Charlie, but I'm willing to give the re-write a shot.

From what I see, Alex didn't do anything. Charlie's the one who kept breaking his heart when he was taking care of her. I'm still happy there together =]

i hated this story themain character was a complete ** I mean she was basically cheating on alex with noah and then gets angry when he's upset what is wrong with that sitiation.
