This is an absolutely fantastic story. Your details are just real enough, and I love your characters--Mr. Necklace Vampire himself in particular is wonderfully mysterious. Also very fond of that circular ending--it gives the story an almost fairy-tale sort of feel to it.

This is easily one of the best things I've read on this site, you're quite talented. The only thing I found difficult to believe were some of Susan's protestations--I understand she's trying to keep the world the way it is for herself, but they still ring a bit hollow from time to time.
