I mean, I want to know what's so terrible about this place and I just get this creepy feeling about her fiance and his family. Also, the narrative started really well with the definition of fear and this sense of something lurking under the surface. Toward the end of the prologue, she sounded less traumatized and became unexpectedly conversational when talking about the history of Evanston's, but you're just now introducing the character so maybe that's normal for her. In any case, it'd be nice to read on to the next chapter and find out. I hope you update! |
