Great story, nice way of portraying Quinn's insecurities. I bet the blade gave him courage right? ;)
Maybe you could add a few lines at the end where he got over them just a little? You know, make it just a little more emotionally gratifying?
But all in all, nice!

This is absolutely one of the sweetest short stories i've read that can be very sweet and sexy in like.. one or two (or three) pages. Absolutely amazing! I love it!
