Mosaic Stains 2008-08-09 ch 1,	"And then they die!" (from Nacho Libre) was what I instantly thought upon reading the end of this... She actually killed herself?! Excuse me, but what the ? Why the hell would she kill herself over some guy? There are other fish in the sea, she just needed a paddle... and maybe a floatie. To kill herself because she was that alone was a real what the for me... Gawd! How pathetic... I guess she did her family a favor then. On the true, serious side, she really didn't come off suicidal, so it was an abrupt ending. Okay to move from my momentary fit and get to the review. The chapter itself was nice, especially the writing. The giving of heights and weights of everyone didn't seem really important to me. But what the hey, it's not my story and not bad within the story... The chapter gave off a... what's the word... a slightly depressed air, which made you sort of feel sorry for Violet. Of course, I also felt if you want to change your situation, then get up and do it yourself.. or take a step to make it happen. But that's a good thing for me to feel, because it manages to draw me into the story or short. When it comes to anything really worth commenting on in a bad way, you happen to put done here: {Judy done the dishes and Linda went to watch television} Originally it should be did. You had it in another spot as well and also in the Phoebus story where he "done a drop kick". I wouldn't have really commented on it, but after seeing it a few times... well, you get the point. Why bother your eyes further.

Didn't she just meet this guy, like, a week ago? And now she's getting married. Maybe she shouldn't do that. Scott, I think people know what marathons are. Don't insult our intelligence, please. It makes you seem like you think we're two or something. We're all (mostly) mature here. With an ending like that, who needs happiness? Really, shouldn't you throw this in with your Creepy Tales? Because... it certainly ended up that way. Think about it. Um, I can't say I loved it, but at least you're using more commas in the right places (however, you're splicing too much for my tastes (and I mean comma splicing, in case you didn't get that)). Storyline wasn't all that. This story wanted to grow up to be a great romance, but turned out to be a "sad tragic tale that had no real purpose." Try working out the kinks in your style, Scotty. Speaking of which... why was it called a love story when it obviously wasn't? She thought it was, but she was just a mistress because he didn't really like his wife/kids all that much. Think on that. Felicia. p.s. Do you seriously wait until I've commented on your reviews to read more of ZI? It's kind of funny. I like "the gay couple" a lot myself... one of those things that ends up jumping out of the woodwork while you aren't looking, you know? I'm not sure if it's a good thing when you say it isn't bad... because that implies it sucks, but you think it's good for me. So... yeah. I'll take it as "I'm glad I can read this, but it wouldn't make it on the shelves." I know I need to work on it. Any suggestions?

Octello 2007-12-09 ch 1,	It seems like something someone would read while slitting their wrists. At least Violet didn't end up surviving, that would have been really depressing. You know, I would bet there are tons of people like Violet just mulling around in everyone's life. Bummer, huh?
