Don't change a thing! The tone stayed constant and I felt like Jason was telling me the tale right in front of me. The ending was fabulous. I mean, not everyone's life ends with a happily ever after. Personally, I like to come across a heartbreaking story. You know, when the guy doesn't get the girl. Well, that's all I have to say for now.
