The personality in the characters is shown well, and I like all the dialogue. A suggestion I have would be to add a little description of where they are, like, at least if they're standing, if they're sitting, if they're alone, etc.

I commend authors who are able to convey so much with first person because I can't seem to show enough or be detailed enough when I try to write that way.
The one shot did seem to move in a whirlwind for me, everything was there but it moved too fast. That could be because the setting is an argument and things tend to come out in a rush (her abusive relationship with Nick etc.) and in somewhat confusing circles but it all makes sense in the end when the parties have calmed down some.
I do think that Lexi's hesitation to say that she loved him was a nice realistic touch, even though she did she was still hurt.

A bit cliche, but very sweet.
