At first I thought it was spending some cutesy family time together or something -- or else about sex. *shrug* I didn't really know -- but I wasn't expecting this, not at all. Wow. That ending was amazing, perfect for the rest of the poem. It shows how the mother wanted to be there, you know, but that she had no denials -- no thinking, "If I could be alive still, I'd have done something differently... I'd fight back." She has no denials about. She -knows- she would still succumb to him. Brilliant piece. Zaijen -Shan- |
