but i like the idea you started here.

why didn't you say something like: "he did want the change that he was getting...but a different kind of change..." i mean, of course, you'd find some prettier descriptions or ways of putting it, but i mean, you could totally incorporate two types of change in here. and i think that would add to it.

but i do like it as it is. it's nice. good work. keep writing.
