So I'm pretty sure I had a small heart attack when I saw the story alert. It's been so long! This, with the almost simple subject matter, is amazing. I love the texture of the words and the way they fit together. The break up of the final line is perfect... It has such a commanding presence. I like, "Transferred through air waves, heat waves, vibrations in the furniture/So forget about it, we don't need anyone else." I'm glad you're back, even if it is only for once in a while. :)
