The combination of perfect description and such vivid characters really brought this to life for me.

Any story that quotes Freddy Mercury in its title has already got something going for it... Your grim imagery fits perfectly with the clandestine setting and noir style. The ending is slightly clichéd, but it does make sense in relation to the heartbroken character. The woman didn`t really ring true for me; why is this man in love with her if she is so callous?

An awesome piece, dialogue and narration interweaving nicely. Your pacing and style are perfect. The story sounds intense. I look forward to reading your finished novel!
