Nemonus 2008-07-17 . chapter 1I love "Our worlds are emblazoned with ourselves." and "drag the verbiage and catch upon idea". This is a deep one--"These stanzas hold meaning beyond the vast/Comprehension of composite thought" is interesting.
"revelation for a generation" utilizes a rather cliched rhyme...I'm not sure what you mean by "a mass of ignorance to beauty", entirely because of "to". It just doesn't make much sense. This is a little heavy on the vocabulary words and light on the rhythm, a sin I know I've committed too...the best way I can describe it is as bogged down.
It has its moments of erudition-- "Feigning interest in the greats, the marvels,/Enchanted eyes disguising our puzzlement" is nice--but I cannot help but feel that overall it could be clearer. |
