I love this, so much. The way it's written is gorgeous, and I can relate to all of it so well. Every line, I was nodding along and smiling, because I recognized the feeling and the situation all too well.

Your director could possibly be a genius. That sounds like the most amazing exercise, I hope I get to try it sometime.

But anyways, fantastic job on this. The human experience summed up beautifully in a few verses, not many people can pull that off.
