Bulimia is a true disorder and people that joke about it tend to overlook the fact thatbulimia is a serious issue and the way you're addressing it isn't making light of it in any way at all. In fact, you're just making it harder. I know someone that was bulimic once and I've seen the consequences and they aren't so pretty. Sure, this may be your character pondering over this but you didn't even have a realistic spin on the scene. You're being plain mean here, bulimia is SO not funny. You know, you have a lot of nerve teasing your "boyfriend". Funny? I would seriously reconsider if I were you - teasing people is a form of bullying. Your character is narcissistic and I would perhaps recommend she go somewhere to fix her head. If she doesn't like him then she should stop making fun of him and just dump him. And there are more serious consequences of bulimia that you an your character have overlooked. Your writing stinks and I would not commend you for it anyday. |

Although your story is listed in the humor category, I hope you include a serious side to it because men eating disorders among men do occur. Good luck with the story. |
