You're just blasting us with imagery aren't you? I really like your choices in comparison in this. Very unpredictable but accurate enough that it makes me wonder how no one else has come up with them! The second stanza and the ending are my favorite parts.

Creating a Dream

I like the third stanza the best and I absolutely love the idea of a "pout-blanket." Very nice.

I like the cup of soup throughout and the owl. "he does not call my name" is an awesome way to end this. Well written.
