I'm terribly glad that I broke that trend this time. Your writing is incredible, let me tell you. Generally, I'm pretty wary of reading things on fictionpress because I usually give up with my grammar-and-plot-centric brain very wounded. In this case, this is easily one of my very favourites on this entire website. I love that each one of your characters has a very separate and distinct set of mannerisms and personality. I love the flow, and syntax, and vocabulary. I love that you talk about all the legends and water fae that I grew up with stories about. I love that you use unconventional words correctly. That the plot actually leaves me going, "WHAT? OH MAN, WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN?", and having absolutely no way to answer that question without reading on. That being said, you've got a unique and complex story here, and I will, by all means, be continuing my reading loyally. Thank you for your writing. Have an excellent day. |
