Interesting. I am not sure what else to say about that. It started off as a nice use of "ancient literature" and mythological creations... with a mix of a story about a girl who is pretty much self-loathing... and yet... powerful. The ending was definitely a bit of a twist that was definitely appreciated.

this was... interesting. I enjoyed it, but it felt like you changed your mind about where it was going mid-writing, and so the ending came off as a little abrupt.
Otherwise, very nice work.

You have been longest on my Author Alert list, and I must admit you never fail to amaze me with the stories you can come up with, even if I don't follow all your stories. I especially like this story, and hope you continue to do well in writing!!

I thought Melpomene was the muse of suffering? Other than that, I enjoy this. I like the verbal sparring going on. Hopefully she's more subtle when dealing with mortals.

Man Oh man I love this Mellio! A woman who will take crap from no one bossing around the ancient gods... now that is RIGHT up my alley... if you read my story "Divine in Convention" you might see what I mean.
