I adore Greg and Lucian; they are both so cute . . . Oh, and I love the pets, but I am partial to (evil) cats. ^^ Actually, all the characters are well-developed and very likeable. The pace of the story is also very good. It's wonderful to see the characters getting to know and warming up to each other. Anyway, thank you for writing this. Totally made my finals week. I really hope you update soon!

Luce isn't participating, and Greg magically gets volunteered? No, that's not a bit suspicious!) The picture I get in my head of Luce's glass-shattering bird call is Fawk's war cry from Harry Potter and the Dark Lord Waldemart...I don't know if you've seen it, but it's hilarious (although the temporary picture of Luce I have in my head is now some guy in a bird suit...) Yeah, off topic...sorry. You're witty and wonderful, so update soon and don't make us readers wait for our daily dosage of monster puns.

I had my suspicions that Arvel was the familiar magic, but I didn't think you you would bring him in so soon. I loved the molestation. Poor Greg. His self esteem is so low he can't see that Luce is crazy over him, though I am getting the impression that there is more to it than simply like at first sight. Either way, as always you did a great job and I can't wait for the next chapter.
