An acquaintance demanded that I read this story, a long time ago, and I stumbled across it earlier tonight, remembered that and started reading. And I was very, very pleasantly surprised and shocked that you've got so few reviews!

I could rant for hours about all the aspects that I like, but that would get boring for us both, and well...I love it. Hands down. Greg is the most awkward bloke I've read in a while, and to see him open up and become friendlier throughout the story is fun. Not to mention Luce, in all his glory, trying so hard not to let his lust/affection come across too strongly.

It's nice to read Frank and Drake, though the spotlight isn't on them in this story.

I hope the blood sugar can get them somewhere, after all this time -winks-

Can I just say I adore Greg? He is the best possible combination of awesome and loser that a vampire could be (he ate a child but he felt bad! n'aw). I'm so glad he actually chomps on people.

(I also love how nobody can awkward him out. Har Gina failed so hard with her smooching ways.)

Another thing I like is that all the monsters are invited to the party, not just werewolves-slash-vampires. Including phoneixes seemed a bit odd to me at first, but Luce is almost as awesome as Greg. His complete lack of flirting skills is endearing. I'm glad you made him about equal in skill to Greg because sexy fights are awesome, and that he's a totally sweetie, and his tendancy to burst into flames around Greg. Greg is hilariously oblivious, btw.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the slash that the next chapter will bring (right? RIGHT!) and the continuation of the plot (revenge on the ex! REVENGE) because this is probably the most entertaining vampire story on fictionpress that I have found yet (which explains the super-long and rambling review). Thanks for writing it! :D

Ok, I love this story! And I ADORE Mason, he's so cute!

I wrote you an enormous review and my computer erased it... it's so terrible but I'll begin again. I read this story after seeing it in many people favorites, I started with FrankInLove and I liked your characters and writing style so much that I knew I had to read Greg the Vampire. I'm now in love with this story... I love the characters, I love that your monster world is made so real and funny because you write many nice details about it that make it different to the human world. Luce and Greg romance... even if they had never kissed... because I don't know how Luce will react to all this. We all know that Luce had been at least lusting for Greg since he meet him but Greg is such a complex and deeply troubled monster that he things the worst of all these signs (the secrets, the hair on fire, etc.) Your main characters are excellent, they feel extremely real and I feel for them, they also make me laugh a lot and I feel so happy when they have their sweet or cute moments. They are definetly great for each other and I can't wait for them to be properly together. I was so happy when Greg kissed him even if it was sort of induced by the blood sugar and we don't know how him and Luce are going to react... I sort of hope that maybe this will give at least one of them the courage to act according to their feelings. And... the secondary characters, I also like them a lot, even if the story is centered around Luce and Greg, they are still importand and feel real. I hope you update as soon as you can because I can't wait to read the next chapter. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with us! :)

i fell in love with this story AGAIN. the world you've created is rock solid, the characters are all well-developed, it's hilarious, and it makes my heart tighten at all the right moments. i'm so glad that you're still updating, and am waiting on pins and needles for the next chapter! any idea how many more chapters you'll be doing?

You are, my dear, the savior and hero of my world. This piece of writing, this glorious, fantastic, absolutely phenomenal piece of writing, has single-handedly restored any and all of my faith in modern vampiric literature that was ever lost by other, brain crushing so-called novels. *COUGHTWILIGHTCOUGH*

(If you are a fan of the series, I do not mean at all to offend you; it is simply my personal opinion.)

But I digress. I've seen other works somewhat similar in verse to this but yours is by far the most comprehensive and original; I've never seen a phoenix used in this context before. Very well done. Your adherence to classic monster mythology and artistic liberties blend quite well, and it makes for a wonderful read. Simply marvelous.
