abuseYay, Jew-person! Hallo from someone who wants to know more about her best friend's crazy holiday traditions!

I was expecting Delia and Gabe to get together... Telegraphing it is AWESOME. :D *faved*

abuseAw . . . that's very cute! The ending didn't really fit though (I liked the little mini-epilogue, but the moral didn't work very well). Otherwise, that was really good!

abuseAw. I can totally relate, hardly being Christian myself. It really does get sort of irritating sometimes. Sigh. Ah well. Such is life.
The story is pretty cute. And Gabriel is an awesome name. And I actually quite liked the last couple of paragraphs, with the hints at their future. Hee. Smoke alarm. Nice.

abuseThis is super cute and very good writing (as usual) but I have to say I disagree with the title. XD Other than that, it's an awesome oneshot (and holiday fic. ;D). Super props to artistic dreamer for adding this to our c2. (:

abuseHey! That was adorable. It had a nice moral as well, and I thought the ending actually was nice, as it showcased the idea of both religions co-existing harmoniously. I would like to point out, though, in regards to your A/N, that Christmas is, indeed, still religious. I agree that the commercialism has gotten out of hand (it actually bothers me nearly as much as Gabe, but for different reasons). However, for 33 percent (I think) of the people in the world, including myself, it still is based on the celebration of Jesus's birth, just like Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah are religiously important to you. I am glad that you put a bit of Judaism on FP, though, since the religion isn't very commonly represented for some reason (no clue why) :-)

Anyway, great one-shot, and happy (rather late) Hannukah!

abuse*laughs* Yeah, even when I was Catholic, I rolled my eyes at the Jesus's birthday gig. Can anyone say Pagan-induced holiday? But try explaining that to ignorant, hyper-Christian buffoons. ;]

I thought it was hilarious when Gabe turned around after the mistletoe kiss to see his parents watching him. The first thing I thought when the two fell was, "What must this look like from inside the restaurant?"

I'm so happy you wrote a Christmas story like this! It's refreshing from other stories, and even a clever way to work in that ol' mistletoe. I thought Gabe's ignorance to little things like that were simply adorable. :]

abuseAw. That was really cute. You did a really good job developing the characters. Actually, it would be cool to see more about these two. Kudos! CD

abuseI loved this story!!
I read this, grudgingly counting down the hours until the rest my family arrives at our house for this horrendous event called "Christmas Eve dinner", and I totally loved that last paragraph. I am the Scrooge among my friends and peers - only because two years ago I had to spend Christmas Eve at my sister's funeral... joy.

Wait.. I am supposed to be reviewing the story. I thought it was great! It helped liven my day a bit! Delia's present was hilarious, but very cute. Thanks for this!

abuseVery amusing. I love Gabe's cynicism and playful tongue-in-cheek banter; he kind of sounds like a guy I'd date! (LOL)
Insta-Fave. The best Christmas story I've read in a long, long time.
