KnittingKneedle 2007-12-27 . chapter 1Wow Agamemnon, that's a name you don't hear very often. The king in the Odyssey right?
I loved the contrasting names of Agamemnon and Sam; it’s an effective way of establishing two very different characters.
I love the wistfulness in the piece and it's great that there isn't any aspect of 'two hot guys are friends and therefore must make-out'. This seems realer than that and I think the piece is all the better for it...
searching for some constructive criticism; personally I don't like present tense, but then again this is a piece very concerned with the here and the now so that criticism is out the window.
Perhaps the "soft cinnamon lips" description is a little clichéd, but it is only Sam imagining after all.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed your work. |
