Hmm. Interesting, yes. I actually like how the counting down works. It's not over-done (which is quite surprising and impressive) and maintains a solid sort of feel to it. I didn't really like the repetition of "I search my mind, I open the gate", mostly because it makes little sense either time. I think this could be more powerful if you made it less... I don't know... is "airy" the right word here? It feels a bit like you were looking too hard to find something that would sound nice. I think a bit more of a down-to-earth approach would help. Mostly, I like it. It's got a good, steady flow, and has a calm feel to it as well.
