 Tipsy101 2009-04-26 . chapter 1I like this.
'Know that you lived life to the full,
And you'll go with a smile on your face.'
I especially liked this bit, it made me smile.
The video game bit made me smile too.
This could be written about anyone really. |
 Florencia7 2008-01-01 . chapter 1Great poem. Well written. I really liked it. |
123454321 2007-12-29 . chapter 1I think the title of this makes the piece.
The actual poem is, as you said, feel good; and I found myself smiling at the end. Nice job, but one typo I found (that I'm not sure if I am right) is "And smile when church-bells do-chime,". I don't think either of those words need to be hyphonated, but I could be wrong.

Sweet Madeline 2007-12-29 . chapter 1"Feel the rain, while you're still young,
Embrace the warmth, the cold,"
This was an amazing poem. Rather lighthearted, I'll agree. Sweet and timeless words are these, that could apply to anyone that needs to hear them. The message "live life to the fullest" is, at times, a bit hard to convey. But you've done it brilliantly. And it rhymed! Great write. |
chuppie 2007-12-29 . chapter 1that's a very sweet poem (and right on point! =)) I like how you mix this old-sounding speech with something modern like video games. well done --chuppie |
Heroh 2007-12-29 . chapter 1Hehe lol I liked the videogame part.. I should make my brother read this :D
But I love how this was filled with joy rather than angst. It really does make me feel a little better :) Nice Job. |
