It starts somehow melancholic but at the end it's just so beautiful like the metamorphosis of a butterfly.

the ending was really sweet and uplifting... I really love the igniting and puting out part... awesome piece

Makes me think of a butterfly/bird coming out of its cacoon/ egg except with with more human characteristics. Like Icarus, I guess. I like flight, so it's quite appealing to me.

I like how almost raw this poem feels. By raw, I mean it touches a common emotion that's not always felt, so it feels... different.

Anyway, I really like this poem. It has a story-like, motion feel. It reminds me of the Greek myth about Icarus and Daedalus, which is cool.

This made me think of the Jars of Clay song called 'Fly' for some reason... I love this, it's beautiful.
