Aw, poor Megumi! That was very mean of Sean to use Megumi like that. I hope you update soon because I really love this story, its characters are very endearing.

wow, these past two chapters have been AMAZING. i waited until after nanowrimo and finals to finally get back on fpress, and it was totally worth it-- two chapters!

i love yuki as a character in this chapter, and sean in the last one-- their twisted logic makes PERFECT sense to me! i would totally hook up with megu too 'coz he's the safe bet, but it's not always the safe bet whom you're in love with.

sigh~ poor megumi! he needs to eat more. i'd like to donate a CUP OF STEAMING HOT SHRIMP RAMEN to his donations box. man, sean should totally treat him to dinner. ^_^

Summarily:
Seth is awesome. I love how introverted and uptight he is. Clearly he needs to get laid. Total opportunity for Seth/Sean action, because, two words, Seth's obsessed. The contrast between Seth and Sean is awesome. Twins are just cool, and the stark division of traits you've set up is amazing. I really like the puppy analogy, because it shows how much Seth is manipulated by Sean and how he knows it but still tries to play like he's in control.

Hopefully any reviews after this one now make more sense. If fictionpress eats this again, I'll shoot it repeatedly and then drown it.

Hello, again! I have finished Chapter 2/1

So, anyway, I guess I'm supposed to be saying something review-ish, so...

Okay, now we put on our professional mask so we're actually useful. Hmm... Yeah, not gonna work XD There's nothing imperfect about it ^.~ Maybe I'll try a professional hat next time...

I'm really looking forward to seeing any of the pages when you get around to drawing accompanying illustrations, and I will bug you to make you draw them. Consider yourself warned. Anyway, I'll flounce off and read the next chapter now. Expect yet another review for Chapter 2! ...well, I guess it's technically Chapter 1 if this is the prologue... Stupid technicalities... nobody loves them. Anywayz, tootles!

i keep mixing sean and seth up. i feel like sean is a more fitting name for a guy like seth, but maybe that's because i know a guy named sean who is nice but has a stick up his ass... XD

not my fave chapter (sean's voice is too haughty for my taste ;P and his description of his suicide attempt is kind of weirdly matter-of-fact and monotone), but since i read the synopsis (gah i know the ending now! x_x) i can see that the relationship between seth and our little megu is subtly developing, and quite nicely at that. but why did sean kiss megumi anyway? argh weirdo!

i've been wondering: your descriptions of japan are totally on the mark, so i'm guessing you either have a japanese background or have stayed there extensively? (or just watched a shit ton of anime. lol) btw, the other day i was perusing fpress and came across an author named anaroriel. she doesn't have much up, but her writing about japan in 'the love curse' reminded me of you, except you focus on describing japanese places and things while she described japanese society. just sayin'.

anyway, enough with the non sequitur review. looking forward to the next chap, as always! ^^

Just saw this story and had to read it. It's awesome. Can't wait to read more. I'm particularly looking forward to the next Seth bit... for some reason he's my favourite character.
