This was a wonderful poem! I liked the way you used painting as a metaphore for changing! Also, how you linked humor and love into the picture was really well-drawn! This was great! Keep it up!

For some reason this poem is reminiscent of one of those moustached artists with berets who wave around a paintbrush, jabbing their canvas lightly and rapidly, and ending up with a million-dollar picture. It's freeverse that actually sounds free. Good job.
