Lol! It’s decent, but not good enough. I guess it’s the best you can do without the blindness factor. Loosing ones vision shouldn’t be taken so easily. I know many that has lost there vision. Even the most optimistic of people are a little morbid about it. It’s the not wanting to except, and sulking all about it. Since, I am totally blind myself, I can help out with your next point. Especially with someone who is blind and had vision It’s no hard task to invision the beauty of nature. It’s not hard for me or anyone with vision lost. We as you folks can also go, “wow! That’s beautiful” and be totally honest.
It’s pretty good for some sighty to write this though.

Hey! Great story. Its actually refreshing to find a unique story. As bad as this may sound...I'm glad he doesn't really love her in the end because its realistic. Good job!
