I like this poem; it's a bit clever, and not too serious I don't think. I'm just confused on the ending. It's never going back to where it came, but the owner is going to send you on your way home?

Anyway, I liked the poem regardless. I love the lines "the speed got higher/engine hot like fire".

I think I got the second meaning. Very...intriguing. Reminds me of a poem by some weird dude that wrote a very dirty car poem.
