| kloun doll 2008-06-27 ch 1, | abusethe thing about choosing to live is a pretty good message, I think life's important, no matter how hard is, your poem is peaceful, cute. |
| Nemonus 2008-05-12 ch 1, | abuseI was struck by the first sentence: the use of "glistens" was fantastically unexpected. Then this paragraph got a bit too heavy on the metaphors and light on the explanation of what's going on--I skipped the angst to skim for the philosophy, and was pleasantly suprised when I found "to know another being is impossible. To know thyself is the only purpose worth striving to achieve.", to be an intelligent deduction, and "I have discovered the meaning of life: everything is the same. Beauty to one man is ugliness in another’s eyes." even more so. Very good statement of a truth not many people think about. This paragraph isn't perfect, but you sound like an intelligent person from it ("The sidewalks are..." through ...lower my head", while too dismal and not well-enough explained for me, do show good wording), and I'd like to see more philosophy from you in your poems. |
| R. Douglas 2008-01-08 ch 1, | abuseDeep. Very Deep. Happiness of past times can not come back, I agree. That's why we look forward to the happiness of the future. Secrets are things that you think only you know, but everyone has figured at one point or another, sad to say. Love is Love. Love is not born of love, I like to think of it like Atoms. Never really destroyed, just passed on. You win, the meaning of life is that everything is the same. Put everything on Repeat, you'll get the words right the second time around... Sorry, I needed to get some things off my chest. I like this, it's deep, it's profound, it seems like it has a signifigant meaning to you as well. Keep up the good work, philosophy is a dying art. If you have a chance, please look over something I've done and review it? Thanks. |
