I was slightly confused until I read the summary of the story... I love in the second stanza the way you describe all the sounds its really great... I also love the part about the mother burning her turkey dinner.. it adds some humor to the danger firemen realyl face.. nicely done

It really describes the life of firefighter well. The flow is well organized and it was a good poem. Keep it Up!
