JEFFREY LOURIE 2008-06-18 ch 1, anon.	abuseThis is an endearingly sweet poem. The tone is that of a little girl, one who is really too young to need a clock in her room. But there's a little kid within all of us. Maybe that's the point of the poem. The last line offers a delectably large menu of interpretations. The only problem I see is in lines 4-5. Read together as one sentence it needs a comma after "fearing." It confused me at first.
