You did a really good job in developing him in the "piece by piece" method, and now we're all hooked by the antithesis of your hero. We love to hate him, and that is the mark of every great villain. I admire the concept of dealing with real life and still having the fate of the entire world on your shoulders. No many people are good at writing that, you are. Like the plot, but it seems a bit overdone. Opening the gates of hell, I can already name three different shows, books and movies that have the same concept BUT and it's a big BUT, even though the concept is not new, it's HOW he's going to open the gates of hell that will make all the difference. Keep writing, can't wait for more. And if it's okay with you, I'd like to consult with you on a story I'm writing. PM if you're interested. |

Considering your numerous posts in such a short amount of time I think you're allowed a short chapter. The plot is complex without being over-complicated and it flows nicely. I usually don't like longer fics since I tend to lose interest but you've made it so that you can't help but feel for your characters and created a good balance of action and inner exploration. I can't wait for the next chapter. |
