GUH. This particular sentiment is very striking in that it's not the sort of thing you usually hear, but still holds true from time to time. The rest of the chapter is lovely in a familiar, grit-your-teeth sort of way. You really get the feeling that you've stayed up all night with William (it could be that I'm just tired anyway, but I digress).

Lastly, the bit about his brother was interesting. I can't really find anything to critique in this chapter, honestly; it just fits so well together. /long and wordy review

This chapter has an interesting format; I thought it was fun to read. William still describes thing very vividly, which is a nice touch to the story, almost like a door to his world. Like this a lot.

There's so much I like about this chapter, let alone the story itself, that I don't know where to begin. I kind of sank my teeth into the first line and got absorbed into the words from there. Hano seems really interesting, like William, quirky and you can tell there's something going on under their skin.

The vividness of your writing really sucks me into the story; I don't really have much to say aside from that it's really good.

Wow, really. This first chapter impressed me a lot; the depths you go to to describe everything really bring me into the story. I like William's voice; he has a certain laid-back feel to him.

One thing I did notice was that there were several instances of grammar misses that jarred me out of the story a little bit (not a whole lot, though; your writing is very profound). Otherwise, absolutely gorgeous prose.

It's certainly surreal, enough so to keep me interested. You should check the very beginning actually, there are some bits that are rather confusing.

Here I am, reading stories when I should be updating my own >< I have a bad habit of doing things like this but I am tired and stressed out. I'm glad that I have stories like this to take my mind off of its current state.
